If she can start on the right foot, she can give her baby a good start

Nurture Newborns is a Teen Initiated Fundraising campaign, led by High School Jr. Ava Montpetit. As the daughter of a single mother herself, and led by a heart of giving-back she decided to take the lead as a Teen Campaign Leader in her school and community to start "Nuture Newborns". She will use funds to help young moms with new babies (ages 0-2) get the items, supplies, and furnishings needed to get baby's life off to a good start.

Ava has teamed up with local mothers charity- Emerge Mothers Academy (EMA). EMA stands with mothers for their Personal Development, Constructive Parenting, Health & Wellness, and Financial Independence

At Emerge Mothers Academy single moms have an opportunity to be involved in any or all of our core 4 programs. Each and all of our programs work toward her stability, her best interests, and with her family's future in mind. We believe these mothers, in their healthiest and highest capacities, are instrumental in raising children. And we also believe in the confidence they can display to their children as they grow into leaders.
