We are honored to share "Emma's*" story with you- to convey how powerful the Christmas Boutique really is for these moms
"I knew by October last year, as legal fees rolled in and piled up for us, it would be a really hard year for Christmas. I didn't want to say anything to my son- but I was not going to be able to buy him any toys or gifts he was hoping for. It just made me so sad. The whole situation just made me sad, and kind of mad. I was probably mostly just mad at all the legal bills, from a bad divorce, that were stealing our Christmas joy. When I got a text from Emerge Mothers and I heard that someone referred my name in to receive Christmas gifts I just cried and cried. I picked out gifts at the boutique, things that other people bought for me to give him, and I felt SUCH a relief and such joy. They even wrapped the gifts there for me while I ate a snack and visited with another mom. When my son opened his gifts on Christmas Eve it was like he never even knew how worried I was and how much I cried for him. He was filled with JOY! And then I just cried even more, a different kind of crying this time. This crying was because of hope, and being seen. Thank you so much for making Christmas gifts possible for me."
